Martyn's Monthly Update
Hello everyone
I hope you all had a lovely summer. We were certainly lucky with the weather this year, although the prolonged hot weather does, of course, bring its own challenges, particularly when it comes to drought.
We also wanted to acknowledge the dreadful situation in Nepal. Our thoughts are very much with the thousands of people and communities affected.
As we look ahead to the next few months, we’ve been receiving lots of interest in travel. September is always a popular time in the Mediterranean, and there is still availability for those looking for a last-minute escape, whether it’s a short break or a longer holiday.
Over the summer, we’ve also been busy putting together some wonderful trips for our clients around the world. Some of the destinations proving particularly popular at the moment include Egypt, combining Cairo with a Nile cruise; Vietnam, which remains a firm favourite; Costa Rica; river and ocean cruising; safari in Africa; motorhome adventures around New Zealand; Canada; and rail journeys through Norway, taking in Oslo and Bergen, with the opportunity to explore the coastline by boat. Japan is also very much in demand and continues to be a favourite.
If you’re thinking about getting away, do pop in and see us or give us a call. We have plenty of ideas and inspiration and whilst we have brochures for many destinations, we’re also very happy to create a personalised itinerary where brochures aren’t available, complete with hotel links and all the information you need, emailed directly to you.
A little note about brochures: it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to maintain a good supply, particularly as more travel information moves online. We’re always very happy to provide brochures, advice and, most importantly, the benefit of our experience to help you plan your holiday. We hope that, when you’ve found the right trip with us, you’ll also consider booking through us. It makes a real difference to a small independent business like ours.
We’ve been here since 1983, and we’re very proud to have helped generations of clients plan and enjoy their holidays. Our aim is to still be here for many years to come, continuing to offer the personal service, advice and support that you simply don’t get from booking online alone.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It really does mean a great deal to us.
Best wishes
Martyn
