As we transition into autumn, there's still time to soak up those final rays of Mediterranean sunshine. The Eastern Mediterranean offers your best bet for extended summer weather, with Greece and its stunning islands, Turkey and Cyprus maintaining their warmth and sunshine well beyond what you'll find in Spain or the Algarve.

Planning ahead for October half-term? We still have excellent availability for those preferring to stay closer to home rather than venture long-haul.

The coming months will see us highlighting exceptional long-haul destinations across our social channels. There's something particularly appealing about escaping Britain's grey autumn and winter for distant shores. Travel outside school holiday periods brings the added benefits of calmer airports and more competitive flight pricing.

This winter, our team - Karen, Jennie and I - will be crafting numerous Arabian adventures, with Oman leading the charge in popularity. Many travellers are discovering Oman as the perfect antidote to Dubai's intensive development. This quieter destination offers exceptional hotel deals during the cooler months.

Travel Planning Note: Ramadan falls between 17 February and 18 March 2026. While this period can offer attractive pricing, be aware that daytime restrictions on public dining and drinking may affect hotel services and experiences.

Passport and visa requirements continue to generate numerous inquiries. We strongly recommend checking the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office website for the latest travel guidance and any current restrictions affecting your chosen destination.

Aircraft seat selection has evolved into an increasingly frustrating revenue stream for airlines. Even premium business class passengers—despite investing thousands in their tickets—face additional charges for advance seat selection. While last year many travellers successfully waited until check-in to secure preferred seats at no extra cost, this summer has seen a shift toward passengers reluctantly paying advance seat fees to guarantee their choice.
